Founder and owner. I remain passionate about working with people to build truly differentiated brands and communications that align and engage with all audiences. I’ve spent 25 years pulling creative teams together, defining creative approach, ensuring everything looks fabulous visually and that the brand story is verbally cohesive and works. My skill is horizontal across many sectors and I love the cross-pollination opportunities that you can bring through from one sector to another and to ensure that the writing and experience is managed through all brand touch points with clarity and consistency. I’m curious, hungry to learn and do the best by my clients at all times. And I’m a hybrid designer/art director/brand writer and strategist.
James has spent more than three decades honing, crafting and re-learning what it means to be a designer in an always-on brandscape and what it takes to engage with today’s empowered and ever more aware consumer. Authenticity and purpose are the bywords that inform the work and output regardless of the chosen media mix. An accomplished writer and art director, James has the ability to combine word and image with a clarity and creativity seldom found. Throughout his career he has helped shape and transform the destinies of brands both boutique and corporate including such names as British Gas, IKEA and Stihl.
Tony describes himself as an agnostic developer and is always keen to deliver the right technology solution that works for clients now and delivers on their long term objectives and brand goals.
A dedicated ‘can do’ marketing professional with a track record of 20+ years delivering results through developing and leading successful lead generation and awareness campaigns to support sales and brand objectives. Sally’s experience in devising intelligent and integrated Go-to-Market campaigns and leadership has added value to many organisations across numerous sectors, including Financial Services, the Public Sector, Retail, Telcos, Pharmaceuticals and Utilities. Her expertise includes creating Go-to-Market Programs, Marketing Strategy, Integrated Marketing, Demand Generation, Lead Generation, Sales Enablement, Customer Retention, C-Level engagement, PR & Leadership.
Advisor – Corporate Finance
Ian established Jamieson's with over twenty years of corporate finance experience and has completed over one hundred and fifty deals. He is well known to both the corporate and private equity communities and has advised on transactions ranging from multi-billion pound cross border mergers, to deals at the smaller end of the spectrum. Prior to founding the firm in 2005, he was Chief Executive of Deloitte Corporate Finance. Ian is an avid sports fan and a non-executive director at The Oval.
Advisor – Technology, Software
Until autumn 2013 Barney was CEO of Workplace which completed an MBO in 2011 with the help of LDC taking the company private after many years on the AIM exchange. Barney joined Workplace in 2007 to take it to the next stage and has been at the forefront of its drive to become a world leading SaaS and cloud based business. Barney has 30+ years experience with application software IT companies & successfully introduced two UK companies to North America. For 13 years Barney was a Main Board Director of Sherwood International plc, he was also a NED of SSP Holdings plc in the insurance software sector helping list on AIM. Other NED roles in the past include Raft International listed on AIM and Guardian Computer Services. Barney was NEC of Becrypt Ltd, the encryption software specialist, for 7 years seeing it from its early stage through to being a major player in the encryption market.
Advisor – Satellite Space Technology
Tim Sherwood chairs the Board of the Satellite Applications Catapult. He is an experienced Non-Executive Director, and has been Chairman of the Hospedia Group Ltd and CVLV Group Ltd, and Deputy Chairman of Redstone plc. Before starting his non-executive career, Tim Sherwood held several directorships within the Vodafone Group. Tim is confident that working with the support of the UK's innovation agency, Innovate UK, the Satellite Applications Catapult has a great opportunity to put the UK in a premier position to develop world-beating applications generated by our world-class academic base and innovative businesses, both small and large.
Advisor – R&D
With over 20 years experience in R&D and commercial roles in the applied biosciences Sector before joining the University of Reading, David has overall executive responsibility for Thames Valley Science Park. David is also a Director of the Local Economic Partnership, is well networked in the Thames Valley and has Board level experience with a number of early stage companies.
Advisor – Finance Director
Simon’s career started at KPMG working in both the UK and US before moving into industry. Since then he has worked as CFO and Company Secretary exclusively for either public companies or private backed businesses. His sector experience is wide including property, retail, manufacturing, distribution, healthcare/medical devices and financial services with a common theme of working on the company side on acquisitions, disposals, integrations, funding and refinancing. It is hard to find another CFO with this range and depth of experience which includes raising traditional bank & mezzanine finance, public offerings, bond issues, and raising funds from family trust and hedge funds. He has also led or been a key part of the management team in the sale of 4 Plc’s and the acquisition and disposal of over 20 private companies. Simon was also a member of the Regional Advisory Board for the Stock Exchange.
